ISMS Policy Statement

Dubai Taxi Company (hereinafter referred as ‘DTC’) acknowledges the critical role of information in its operations and is committed to protecting the information assets by implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure the responsible use of DTC's information assets.

The ISMS at DTC is aligned to the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001: 2022

DTC is committed to:

  • Safeguard the Confidentiality, Integrity & Availability of information assets from evolving cyber and data security threats.
  • Ensure the privacy of information related to the organization, customers, business partners & employees by implementing suitable protection for information and its information processing infrastructure against threats, both internal and external.
  • Ensure that information users are aware of and comply with all current and relevant information security regulations and legislation requirements.
  • Continuously and proactively monitor and manage the risks based on the DTC’s risk appetite.
  • Maintain an effective ISMS by adhering to leading industry standards and best practices, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in information security processes and practices.
  • Promote information security awareness amongst users and employees by sharing knowledge and responsibility.
  • Provide essential buy-in and support from Senior Management to implement, operate and review an effective ISMS.

DTC acknowledges the need for ongoing improvement and has various methods to ensure that the effectiveness and ongoing improvement of the processes are achieved. To ensure the effectiveness of the ISMS, DTC has the necessary Information Security policies in place and holds all its employees, contractors, and relevant interested parties responsible for full compliance. Additionally, to ensure suitability and enforceability, DTC reviews its policies, including its Information Security Policy, on an annual basis or when significant changes to laws or best practices occur.
